Alexander Nylander Autographs
Alexander Nylander is a Swedish ice hockey player born on March 2, 1998. He is the son of former Swedish hockey player Michael Nylander and he grew up playing hockey in Sweden for teams such as AIK and Södertälje SK. Nylander has always been known for his incredible offensive skills and quick hands, which have made him a dangerous player on the ice.
Nylander's hockey career began to take off when he was selected by the Mississauga Steelheads in the first round of the 2015 CHL Import Draft. He played his first season for Mississauga in 2015-2016 and put up impressive numbers, scoring 28 goals and earning 47 assists in just 57 games. His exceptional play caught the attention of many NHL scouts and he was ultimately chosen by the Buffalo Sabres in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
After being drafted, Nylander played for the Rochester Americans, the AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, for two seasons. He showed flashes of brilliance during his time in the AHL, but struggled with consistency. Nylander made his NHL debut for the Buffalo Sabres in 2018, but has since been traded to the Chicago Blackhawks in July 2019. He is now playing for the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs, where he continues to develop his skills and work towards establishing himself as a consistent scoring threat on the ice.
