Alexis Lafreniere, born on October 11th, 2001, is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who currently plays for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He grew up in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, and began playing organized hockey at the age of four. As a youth player, Lafreniere played for the Saint-Eustache Vikings, where his skills developed rapidly, and by the age of 15, he was playing for the Rimouski Oceanic in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
