Anders Lindback Autographs
Anders Lindback is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender who was born on May 3, 1988. He began his hockey career in 2005, joining Gavle's Brynas IF under-18 team. After two years, he moved up to Brynas IF’s under-20 squad, where he played for two seasons before being drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
Lindback remained in Sweden for one more season with Brynas IF while also playing for the Swedish national team. In 2010, he left Sweden to pursue his NHL career with the Nashville Predators, where he quickly became known for his impressive play and size. However, after three seasons with the Predators, he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he struggled with inconsistency and injury issues. He also played for the Dallas Stars, Buffalo Sabres, Arizona Coyotes, and Nashville Predators during his NHL career, which spanned from 2010 to 2018. Lindback currently plays for Lausanne HC in Switzerland’s National League.
Throughout his hockey career, Anders Lindback has received numerous accolades, including being named the Brynas IF Player of the Year in 2009 and the Swedish Hockey League’s Goaltender of the Year in 2010. He was also a member of the Swedish national team that took home the silver medal in the 2011 IIHF World Championships. What sets Lindback apart from other NHL goaltenders is his size; standing at 6’6”, he has an enormous reach and covers a lot of ground in front of the net. Despite facing many challenges throughout his career, Lindback has remained dedicated to the game and has continued to play at a high level, earning him a respected reputation within the hockey community.
