Anton Lander Autographs
Anton Lander is a former Swedish professional ice hockey player who was born on April 23, 1991, in Sundsvall, Sweden. Since his childhood, Lander had a deep passion for hockey and started pursuing his dream to become a professional player at a young age. He began his hockey career in 2006 with the Timrå IK Junior as a centerman, where he spent three seasons gaining experience and developing his skills.
In 2009, Lander was selected by the Edmonton Oilers as the 40th overall pick in the NHL Entry Draft. He made his debut with the Oilers in October 2011, and played his first NHL game against the Vancouver Canucks. In the following years, Lander played for both the Oilers and their affiliate team, the Oklahoma City Barons. He was known for his strong skating ability, faceoff skills, and his ability to play well in both forward and defensive positions. Throughout his hockey career, he has played in over 215 NHL games and has scored a total of 20 points.
In the summer of 2018, after almost a decade of playing professional hockey, Lander announced his retirement. He finished his career playing for Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Lander also represented Sweden in several international tournaments, including being a part of the team that won gold at the 2018 IIHF World Championships. Although Lander's hockey career has come to an end, his hard work and dedication to the sport have left a lasting impact on the hockey community.
