Auston Matthews Autographs
Auston Matthews was born on September 17, 1997, in San Ramon, California. He grew up playing hockey in Arizona and developed his skills playing for the Arizona Bobcats youth hockey program. He then moved to Switzerland to play for the Zurich Lions in the Swiss National League.
Matthews made his NHL debut on October 12, 2016, with the Toronto Maple Leafs. His debut was an unforgettable one as he scored four goals in his first game, becoming the first NHL player in history to achieve the feat. Matthews went on to have an impressive rookie season, scoring 40 goals and 69 points in 82 games. He was also the recipient of the Calder Memorial Trophy, awarded to the league's best rookie.
Matthews has since established himself as one of the top players in the NHL. In 2021, he helped lead the Maple Leafs to the playoffs, scoring 41 points in 52 games during the regular season. He is recognized for his impressive skill and scoring ability, as well as his leadership on and off the ice. With Matthews already achieving so much at such a young age, it is clear that he will continue to be a top player in the NHL for years to come.
