Ben Scrivens is a retired Canadian ice hockey goaltender best known for his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, and Los Angeles Kings. Scrivens was born on September 11, 1986, in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada. He played collegiate hockey at Cornell University, where he set several school records and was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Year in the 2009-2010 season. More about Ben Scrivens

Scrivens began his professional hockey career in the Toronto Maple Leafs organization in 2010, where he spent time with the team's AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies. He made his NHL debut for the Leafs in November 2011 and played for the team until he was traded to the LA Kings in 2013.
