Despite being considered a backup goalie for the majority of his career, Brent Johnson was one of the most talented goaltenders in the NHL. He played for the Blues from 1998 to 2006, where he achieved a record of 66-53-11, with 10 shutouts, during his time with the team. Johnson also saw stints with the Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Washington Capitals before his retirement in 2012. Ultimately, he played 332 games, finishing with a record of 154-140-32, alongside 23 shutouts.

One of the most memorable moments in Brent Johnson's career came in November 2010 during a game against the New York Islanders. When the Islanders goaltender, Rick DiPietro, initiated a fight with Johnson, he responded by landing a punch that knocked DiPietro out and fractured his face. The incident made headlines and led the NHL to enforce stricter rules regarding goaltender fights. Despite the altercation, Brent Johnson remained a respected and talented player who made significant contributions to his teams over the years. Read even more about Brent Johnson at Wikipedia
