Bret Hedican Autographs

Bret Hedican is a retired American ice hockey defenseman who played for five different teams throughout his 17-year career in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on August 10, 1970, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Hedican began his hockey career at the University of North Dakota, where he played for three seasons. In 1989, Hedican was drafted by the St. Louis Blues as the 198th pick overall in the NHL Entry Draft. He officially began his NHL career in the 1991-92 season with the Blues, where he played for four seasons.
In 1995, Hedican was traded to the Vancouver Canucks, where he spent five seasons and made it to the Stanley Cup final in 1994. He then played two seasons each with the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes, respectively. In Carolina, Hedican won his first and only Stanley Cup championship in the 2005-06 season. During his career, Hedican was known for his strong defensive skills and physical play, as well as his ability to move the puck effectively.
After being traded to the Anaheim Ducks in 2008, Hedican announced his retirement from the NHL on August 28, 2009. Following his retirement, Hedican became involved in broadcasting, working as an analyst for the San Jose Sharks and the NHL Network. Hedican has also been active in supporting various charitable causes, including the Special Olympics and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. With his impressive career and contributions to the game, Hedican remains an important figure in American ice hockey history.
