Cam Atkinson Autographs
Cam Atkinson is an American professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on June 5, 1989, in Riverside, Connecticut, and was raised in Greenwich, Connecticut. Atkinson started playing hockey at a young age and played for Avon Old Farms, a prep school in Connecticut, before joining the United States Hockey League (USHL).
In 2008, Atkinson was drafted in the sixth round, 157th overall, by the Columbus Blue Jackets. He then played college hockey at Boston College, where he won a national championship in 2010. After his collegiate career, he made his professional debut with the Springfield Falcons, the Blue Jackets' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, in 2011. Atkinson eventually made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets during the 2011-12 NHL season.
Since joining the NHL, Atkinson has established himself as an important player for the Columbus Blue Jackets. He has consistently been one of their top scorers and has earned several accolades, including being named an NHL All-Star in 2017 and 2019. Atkinson also played for the United States at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where he earned a bronze medal. Over his career, Atkinson has become known for his speed, skill, and tenacity on the ice, and he has been an integral part of the Columbus Blue Jackets' success.
