Chris Butler Autographs
Chris Butler is a professional ice hockey player from St. Louis, Missouri. Born on October 27, 1986, Butler began his hockey career in high school where he played for the Loomis Chaffee School. He was then named captain of his college hockey team at the University of Denver in 2007. During his collegiate career, he helped his team to win the NCAA Championship in 2005.
After finishing his college career, Butler signed with the Buffalo Sabres in 2008, where he played for four seasons. During his time with the Sabres, Butler established himself as a fierce defensemen and earned the nickname "Top Gun" for his consistent play on the ice. In 2012, he was traded to the Calgary Flames, where he played for three seasons before becoming a free agent in 2015. Butler then signed with the St. Louis Blues, his hometown team, in 2016, where he played for two seasons before retiring from professional hockey in 2018.
Throughout his career, Chris Butler played in over 380 games in the NHL, recording 68 points and becoming a reliable player for all the teams he played for. He was known for his work ethic and leadership skills, earning several awards and honours over the years including the AHL Sportsmanlike Award and was the captain of the US national team at the 2013 IIHF World Championships. After his retirement, he currently serves as a player development coach for the St. Louis Blues, helping young players to develop their skills and reach their full potential.
