Chris Higgins Autographs
Chris Higgins is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player, born on June 2, 1983, in Smithtown, New York. Higgins started playing hockey at a young age and played in various youth leagues before playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) for his junior career. He played for the Quebec Remparts and later for the Montreal Canadiens organization.
Higgins turned pro in the year 2004 after being drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft. He went on to play for the Canadiens and also played for several other teams, including the New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks, and Florida Panthers. His playing style was known for his speed, quickness, and scoring ability. He had a successful career during his 14 years in the NHL, racking up over 170 goals and 168 assists in 711 games.
Higgins officially announced his retirement from professional hockey in 2018, citing injuries and the desire to focus on his family as the reason for the decision. He has since become involved in coaching and training young hockey players to help them reach their full potential. Despite his retirement from the professional hockey scene, he remains a dedicated follower of the sport and is often seen attending games and events. Chris Higgins is remembered as one of the top hockey players of his generation.
