Throughout his career, Simon gained a reputation as a tough, physical player. He was known for his fighting skills and his ability to check opponents off the puck. However, his aggressive style of play sometimes landed him in trouble with the NHL, and he received multiple suspensions throughout his career. Despite this, Simon was highly respected by his teammates and was known as a leader on the ice, both for his play and his work ethic.

Simon retired from the NHL in 2008, after 15 seasons in the league. Despite his checkered past, he left a lasting impact on the game and on the players who played alongside him. Since retiring, he has focused on giving back to the game he loves, working with youth hockey programs and coaching at various levels. Simon's career serves as a reminder of the importance of hard work and dedication, both on and off the ice. Read even more about Chris Simon at Wikipedia
