Chris Thorburn Autographs

Chris Thorburn is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who was born on June 3, 1983, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He began his hockey career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) when he was 16 years old, playing for the North Bay Centennials. After four seasons with the Centennials, Thorburn was selected in the second round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres.
Over the course of his 14-year NHL career, Thorburn played for teams including the Atlanta Thrashers, Winnipeg Jets, and St. Louis Blues. He played in a total of 801 NHL games, recording 53 goals and 81 assists for 134 points. Thorburn was known for his physical play and ability to play both wing positions.
Although Thorburn never won a major NHL award, he was a respected player among his teammates and opponents. He was known as being a tough player who could defend his teammates and was willing to drop the gloves when necessary. After his retirement from playing professional hockey, Thorburn was hired by the St. Louis Blues as an assistant coach for their minor league affiliate team, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
