Craig Billington Autographs
Craig Billington is a former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for almost 15 seasons. Born on September 11, 1966, in London, Ontario, Canada, Billington started his hockey journey by playing minor league hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He played junior hockey for the Belleville Bulls from 1982-1985, and then moved to the minor league's NHL affiliate team, the St. Louis Blues, where he played from 1985-1986.
In 1990, Billington entered the NHL as a member of the New Jersey Devils. He played for the Devils for four seasons and helped lead the team to the Eastern Conference Finals in 1994. After his stint with the Devils, he played for a series of other NHL teams, including the Edmonton Oilers, Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche, and the Washington Capitals. During his career, Billington recorded a 110-90-32 overall record, five playoff wins, and played in over 300 games. He retired after the 2002-2003 season with the Avalanche.
Following his playing career, Billington transitioned to management positions within the NHL. He currently works for the Colorado Avalanche as the Assistant General Manager, where he has helped the team make the playoffs in each of his first four seasons with the organization. Billington's success as a player and as a manager has solidified his place in NHL history as an outstanding goaltender who continues to contribute to the sport at a high level.
