Craig Simpson Autographs
Craig Simpson is a former professional ice hockey player who was born on February 15, 1967, in London, Ontario. Simpson started his career in the Ontario Hockey League, playing for the London Knights, where he was selected twice as the OHL Most Valuable Player. Simpson was a high-scoring forward and was drafted second overall in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Craig Simpson played in the National Hockey League for ten seasons, representing the Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, and the Buffalo Sabres. His most successful season was in 1987-88 when he played for Edmonton Oilers and was part of their Stanley Cup-winning team, scoring eleven goals in the playoffs. Simpson also played in two All-Star Games during his NHL career, in 1989 and 1990.
After retiring as a player, Craig Simpson became a well-known broadcaster and analyst for the NHL Network and CBC. Simpson's knowledge and insight into the game have made him a respected commentator, and his experience as a former player has given him a unique perspective on the game. Simpson also contributes to various charities, including the "Make-A-Wish Foundation" and the "Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation."
