Dallas Drake Autographs
Dallas Drake was born on February 4, 1969, in Trail, British Columbia, Canada. He was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for over a decade. His hockey career began at age 16 when he began to play Junior A hockey for the Vernon Lakers. Later, he continued his hockey journey with Northern Michigan University, where he had an outstanding performance throughout his four years of college. After that, he got selected in the sixth round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings.
Drake eventually played for four teams in his NHL career, playing 1009 Regular Season games and amassing 177 goals and 436 points, This made him one of the most respected forwards in NHL. He is most known, however, for his time with the St. Louis Blues, where he played from 2000-2007. During his tenure with the Blues, he played in 523 regular-season games, scoring 84 goals and 155 assists. He was a crucial member of the team that reached the Western Conference finals in 2001 and 2002. He was awarded the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy for his sportsmanship and excellence on the ice in 2004.
Finally, In 2008, Drake had his greatest success in his career when he won the Stanley Cup with the Detroit Red Wings. He played a vital role in the team's victory, recording two goals and four assists in 19 playoff games. This championship was the perfect conclusion to his career as he announced he would retire in 2008. Dallas Drake’s career provided tremendous value to NHL over a decade, and his role in achieving the success of different teams shouldn’t be forgotten.
