Dave Forbes Autograph
Dave Forbes was a Canadian professional ice hockey player born on June 16, 1948, in Montreal, Quebec. He started his hockey career with the Flin Flon Bombers of the Western Canada Junior Hockey League where he played for three seasons. In 1967, he was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the second round, 16th overall. Forbes made his NHL debut in the 1970-71 season, and in a game against the Chicago Blackhawks, he recorded his first point in the league. He then became a regular member of the Bruins' roster until 1976. After retiring from professional hockey, Forbes continued to be involved in the sport as a coach and mentor. He spent time coaching youth hockey teams and helped to develop young hockey players in his hometown of Montreal. Forbes was also involved in the NHL alumni program, participating in fundraising events and representing the league's former players. He was a beloved figure in the hockey community, known for his passion and dedication to the sport.
