Dave Hannan Autographs
David Hannan, commonly known as Dave Hannan, is a retired professional ice hockey player from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. He was born on December 17, 1961. Hannan played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for more than 1,100 games during his career, playing the role of a left winger. He was a tough and aggressive player, a team player and a great scorer, making him an invaluable member of his teams.
Hannan started his professional hockey career in 1982 after he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the NHL draft. He played for several different teams throughout his career, including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres, Colorado Avalanche, and San Jose Sharks, before retiring in 1998. Hannan was known for his versatility during his career, as he played multiple positions and could handle multiple roles on the ice.
Dave Hannan's most memorable moment was in the 1993 Eastern Conference playoffs. Playing for the Buffalo Sabres, Hannan scored the game-winning goal in Game 6 of the Conference Finals against the Boston Bruins in a game that had gone into overtime. The Sabres went on to play in the Stanley Cup Finals that year for the first time in nearly 20 years. After leaving professional hockey, Hannan became an assistant coach for the Utica Comets, a minor league hockey team, and started his own business, SportStar Athletics, to train young athletes. Today, Hannan is remembered as a dedicated and passionate player who gave his best on the ice, which made him a crowd favorite among fans.
