Dustin Tokarski Autographs
Dustin Tokarski is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). He was born on September 16, 1989, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada. Tokarski's interest in ice hockey began at an early age, and he began to hone his skills on the rink. He played junior hockey for the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he won the Memorial Cup in 2008, recorded a 2.33 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage in the post-season, and was awarded the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
Tokarski played his first NHL game with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2009. He recorded 5 wins and 6 losses in his 2013 season with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL, and then he was called up to the Montreal Canadiens. That year, he played three games with the Canadiens in the Stanley Cup playoffs, including a win over the New York Rangers, where he made 35 saves. His career also includes stints with the St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks before joining the Charlotte Checkers on a one-year contract for the 2021–22 season.
Tokarski's career in international competition has included representing Canada and winning a gold medal at the 2009 World Junior Championships. His final performance in the gold-medal game was a 39-save effort that earned him the tournament's MVP award. In addition, Tokarski has represented Canada in the 2018 Spengler Cup, helping the team win the tournament. Overall, Tokarski has had a successful career, and his contributions to the teams he has played for are undeniable.
