Glen Murray Autographs

Glen MurrayGlen Murray is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player, born on November 1, 1972, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a right-winger, starting his career with the Boston Bruins in 1991. Murray was drafted by the Bruins in the third round, 61st overall pick, in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. He played junior hockey with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) before making his professional debut.
Murray was known for his tough style of play and his ability to score goals. He played with the Bruins from 1991 until he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1995. He played with the Penguins for two seasons before joining the Los Angeles Kings and playing six seasons there. In his time with the Kings, he scored a career-high of 44 goals in the 2002-2003 NHL season. He then played with the Bruins again for three seasons before retiring from professional hockey in 2008.
In his 16 seasons in the NHL, Murray played in 1009 regular-season games, scoring 337 goals and 314 assists for a total of 651 points. He also played in 63 playoff games, scoring 17 goals and 15 assists. After retiring from professional hockey, Murray started coaching in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and became the head coach for the Adirondack Thunder of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) in 2020. Murray was inducted into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame in 2017 for his contribution to the sport of ice hockey.
