Harold Ballard Autographs
Harold Ballard was a Canadian businessman and sportsman who made a great impact on the world of ice hockey. Born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1903, Ballard grew up with a passion for hockey and attended several games of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Eventually, he bought a stake in the team and became the chairman and co-owner from the 1960s until his death in 1990.
Ballard's hockey career is notable for his involvement with the Maple Leafs, which was highly successful under his ownership, winning six Stanley Cups. Ballard was also known for his innovative ideas, such as introducing commemorative patches on player uniforms or planting a garden in front of the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.
