Igor Korolev Autographs
Igor Korolev was a talented ice hockey player who was born in Moscow, Russia, on September 6th, 1970. He started playing hockey at a young age and quickly developed a passion for the game. Korolev played his first professional hockey game for Moscow Dynamo in 1987, and in 1992 he moved to North America to play for the St. Louis Blues.
During his career, Igor Korolev played for six different teams, including the Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Dallas Stars. He was known for his speed, agility, and offensive skills, which made him a formidable player on the ice. Korolev played in over 800 games, scoring 119 goals and 358 points over his 12-year career in the NHL.
Outside of his professional career, Igor Korolev also played for the Russian national team in several international tournaments, including the 1998 Winter Olympics. After retiring from hockey in 2009, Korolev began working as a coach with the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl junior team in his hometown of Moscow. Sadly, Korolev passed away in 2011 when the team's plane crashed during takeoff, which was a devastating loss to the hockey community.
