Jason Arnott is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player who was born on October 11, 1974, in Collingwood, Ontario. He is most known for his incredible career in the National Hockey League (NHL), where he played for 19 consecutive seasons. During his time in the league, Arnott played for six different NHL teams, scoring an impressive 938 points (417 goals, 521 assists) in 1254 regular-season games and 76 points (34 goals, 42 assists) in 122 playoff games. Arnott's success in the NHL began when he was drafted seventh overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. In his rookie season, he recorded 68 points (33 goals, 35 assists) and was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team. Arnott went on to play for several other teams, including the New Jersey Devils, where he helped lead the team to the 2000 Stanley Cup Championship. He scored the winning goal in double-overtime to help clinch the title for the Devils.
