Jason York Autographs
Jason York is a Canadian professional ice hockey who was born on June 20, 1970, in Nepean, Ontario. He started playing hockey at a young age and developed a passion for the sport. York spent his junior hockey career with the Sudbury Wolves, where he played for four seasons from 1987 to 1991. The defenseman made a massive impact in his final season, scoring 29 goals and 54 assists for a total of 83 points.
After his junior hockey career, Jason York was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. He played his first NHL game on October 19, 1991, but it was not until the 1993-94 NHL season that York saw significant ice time. He played with the Red Wings for three seasons before being traded to the Ottawa Senators. York spent six seasons with the Senators, where he recorded 37 goals and 85 assists for a total of 122 points. After leaving the Senators, York had stints with various teams such as the Nashville Predators, Anaheim Ducks, and the Boston Bruins, where he played his final NHL game in 2006.
Throughout his professional hockey career, Jason York was known for his fearless style of play and his toughness as a defenseman. He played a total of 757 NHL games, recorded 96 goals and 212 assists for a total of 308 points. York is a proud owner of a Stanley Cup, which he won with the Anaheim Ducks in the 2006-07 NHL season.
