Jay Bouwmeester Autographs

Jay Bouwmeester is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenseman who played his career in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on September 27, 1983, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Bouwmeester spent most of his career with the Florida Panthers, Calgary Flames, and the St. Louis Blues, and represented Canada internationally winning multiple gold medals.
Bouwmeester started his professional hockey career with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL) in 1999. He was drafted third overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He played 471 games for the Panthers and was known for his strong skating, good shot, and ability to control the play. He was named an NHL All-Star in 2007 and again in 2009.
After playing for the Panthers, Bouwmeester was traded to the Calgary Flames during the 2008-09 season. He spent four seasons with the team before being traded to the St. Louis Blues in 2013. While with the Blues, he became a key part of their defense and helped them win their first Stanley Cup in 2019. Bouwmeester retired in 2020 after playing 1240 NHL games, scoring 88 goals and 336 assists, and earning the respect of fellow players and coaches throughout his career.
