Jhonas Enroth Autographs
Jhonas Enroth is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender, born on June 25, 1988, in Stockholm, Sweden. He began his hockey journey with IF Björklöven in the Swedish second division league in 2004. Enroth was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the second round, 46th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He then moved to North American hockey, joining the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League (AHL) for the 2008-2009 season. Enroth made his NHL debut on November 3, 2009, with the Buffalo Sabres, making 25 saves in a 3-2 overtime victory over the New York Islanders.
Over the course of his career, Enroth has played for numerous teams in the NHL, including Buffalo Sabres, Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Detroit Red Wings. Enroth has also represented his country in international tournaments, including the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and the Ice Hockey World Championships. He has won a bronze medal with Sweden at the 2010 IIHF World Championships.
In total, Enroth has appeared in 153 NHL games, recording a save percentage of .909 and a goals-against average of 2.82. Though his tenure as a starting goaltender has been limited, he has proved to be a reliable backup goaltender. With his agility and quick reaction time, Enroth is a solid goalie that any team can count on, even on short notice.
