Jim Nill Autographs
Jim Nill is a former Canadian ice hockey player and current general manager for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Born in Hanna, Alberta in 1958, Nill began his hockey career playing junior hockey for the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Western Hockey League. After being drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the eighth round of the 1978 NHL Entry Draft, Nill spent the next 10 years playing in both the NHL and minor leagues for several teams including the Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues, Winnipeg Jets, and Boston Bruins.
\nNill retired as a player in 1990 and began his coaching career shortly after. He served as an assistant coach for the Ottawa Senators and followed that up with a position as the assistant general manager of the Detroit Red Wings. During his time with the Red Wings, Nill helped the team win four Stanley Cup championships in 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2008. In 2013, Nill was hired as the general manager of the Dallas Stars, where he has continued to build a competitive and successful team through trades, draft picks, and free agents.

His dedication and expertise have helped take the teams he worked with to new heights of success.
