John Druce Autographs

John Druce, born on February 7, 1966, is a retired professional ice hockey player from Canada. He spent his early years growing up in the small town of Peterborough, Ontario, where he fell in love with hockey at a very young age. When he was 18 years old, he decided to pursue his passion for hockey seriously and began playing for the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League.
Druce was picked up by the Washington Capitals in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft as the 56th overall pick. He made his NHL debut in the 1986-87 season with the Capitals and impressed everyone with his speed and skill on the ice. Druce became a vital part of the Capitals’ team as a winger due to his offensive abilities and sticky hands, which resulted in many clutch goals. His most notable season was the 1989-90 season, where he led the Capitals in the playoffs by scoring 14 goals in just 15 games, which remains a record to this day.
Druce went on to play for the Winnipeg Jets, Los Angeles Kings, and Philadelphia Flyers over the next few years before finally hanging up his skates in 1998. He played a total of 531 NHL games and scored 113 goals, with 219 points in his entire career. Druce's legacy remains intact, however, as one of the greatest success stories of the NHL, representing an example of how hard work and determination can lead to success even for those players who do not have a “superstar” status.
