Josh Gorges Autographs
Josh Gorges is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who was born on August 14, 1984, in Kelowna, British Columbia. He played his junior hockey with the Kelowna Rockets in the Western Hockey League (WHL) and was later signed by the San Jose Sharks in 2002. After being traded to the Montreal Canadiens in 2007, Gorges quickly became a fan-favorite with his solid defensive play and leadership qualities. He played with the Canadiens for six seasons before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres in 2014.
During his career, Gorges played over 800 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) and was known for his hard-hitting and selfless defensive play. He was also recognized for his leadership qualities and was often named an alternate captain or captain of his various teams. Additionally, Gorges was recognized off the ice for his contributions to various charities and community organizations, including his work with the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation and his own charity, the Gorges Gala.
After retiring from the NHL in 2018, Gorges continued to stay involved in the hockey community, serving as a coach and mentor to young players. He also started working with the NHL Players' Association to help players transition to life after hockey. Today, Gorges is regarded as one of the most respected and admired players to have played in the NHL, and his contributions to the game and the community are widely recognized.
