Josh Norris Autographs
Josh Norris is an American professional ice hockey player who currently plays as a center for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on May 5, 1999, in New York, Josh started playing ice hockey early in his life. He began his career with the USHL team USA Hockey National Team Development Program during the 2015-16 season playing 25 games, scoring eight goals, and making ten assists. In the following season, he led the team in scoring with 61 points in 52 games.
In 2017, Josh Norris committed to play division ice hockey for the University of Michigan Wolverines. As a freshman in 2017-2018 season, Josh was named as one of the top rookies in the Big Ten Conference. He scored 23 points in 37 games in his freshman season, with 8 goals and 15 assists. In his sophomore season, he led the Wolverines with 19 goals and 14 assists, helping his team win six consecutive games, and finished the season as top scorer in the Big Ten with 32 points in 17 games. These stats earned him a nomination as the Big Ten player of the year and a spot on the All-Big Ten First Team.
Josh Norris was then selected by the San Jose Sharks in the first round, 19th overall, of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. After playing with Michigan for two seasons, he was traded along with Rudolfs Balcers, Dylan DeMelo, a 2020 first-round draft pick, and a 2019 second-round draft pick, to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Erik Karlsson and Francis Perron. Josh Norris made his NHL debut with the Senators on January 7, 2020, and scored his first NHL goal on February 22, 2020, in a 4-3 win over the Dallas Stars. Since his debut, he has been a valuable player for the Senators and is expected to continue shining in the NHL.
