Karri Ramo Autographs

Karri Ramo is a former Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender who grew up in Asikkala, Finland. He was born on July 1, 1986, and started his hockey career in his hometown, playing for the junior team of Asikkalan Raiku. He began his professional career in 2003, playing for the Lahti Pelicans in the Finnish Liiga.
In 2006, Ramo was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning. He signed his first NHL contract in 2007 and made his NHL debut with the Lightning against the New York Islanders. He played for the Tampa Bay Lightning for four seasons, recording his first NHL win on December 20, 2008. In 2013, he returned to play for the Lahti Pelicans in the Finnish Liiga. After three seasons, he went back to the NHL, signing a one-year contract with the Calgary Flames for the 2016-2017 season.
Throughout his hockey career, Ramo has been a solid goaltender and a key player for his teams. He represented Finland several times, playing in the World Junior Championships in 2005 and the World Championships in 2010 and 2016. He was also named the best goalie of the 2010 tournament, helping Finland win a bronze medal. Ramo's career was unfortunately cut short after he suffered a knee injury while playing for the Calgary Flames in 2016. Since then, he has transitioned to a coaching role and continues to give back to the sport that he loves.
