Kris Beech is a former professional ice hockey player born on February 5, 1981, in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. He played center and was considered an exciting young prospect in his early days. Beech’s journey in professional hockey began when he was drafted eighth overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. It marked the start of a long, successful career that saw him play for a total of six different NHL franchises.
