He was known for his physical play and his ability to score timely goals. During his time with the Silvertips, Beach recorded 156 points in 168 regular-season games. He made his professional debut with the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League, serving as their captain during the 2012-2013 season. Beach was a rugged forward who never backed down from a physical challenge. He showcased his talents in the AHL, recording 42 points in 154 games before retiring in 2015 due to a knee injury.
