Link Gaetz Autographs
Link Gaetz was born on March 22, 1968, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and began playing hockey at a young age. He played left-wing for the Victoria Cougars in the Western Hockey League (WHL) in the late 1980s, where he developed a reputation for being a tough, physical player. Gaetz gained national attention during his time with the Cougars, scoring 57 points and accumulating 399 penalty minutes in the 1987-88 season.
The 6'3", 220-pound Gaetz was selected 40th overall by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1988 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut with the North Stars in the 1989-90 season and quickly became known as one of the toughest players in the league. Gaetz played for various teams in the NHL, including the San Jose Sharks, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Los Angeles Kings, and amassed a total of 245 penalty minutes in just 52 career games.
Gaetz's hockey career was marked by his aggressive and sometimes violent style of play, which earned him a reputation as one of the most feared enforcers in the league. While his career was relatively short, Gaetz's impact on the sport is still felt today.
