Marc Tardif Autographs
Marc Tardif was born on October 29, 1949, in Granby, Quebec. He grew up playing hockey and quickly became known for his abilities on the ice. Tardif began his professional career with the Quebec Remparts in 1966, where he quickly established himself as a dominant player. He played for the Remparts for five seasons and won numerous awards, including the Michel Brière Memorial Trophy in 1969 as the most valuable player in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
In 1971, Tardif was drafted by the NHL's Montreal Canadiens. However, he spent most of his career playing for the Quebec Nordiques of the World Hockey Association. He was a key part of the team's success, helping guide them to two AVCO Cup titles in 1976 and 1977. Tardif was also a scoring machine, averaging more than a point per game during his WHA career and tallied an incredible 63 goals and 78 assists during the 1974-75 season.
Tardif retired from professional hockey in 1985 and was later inducted into the Quebec Sports Hall of Fame in 1995. Throughout his career, he left an indelible mark on the game of hockey. He was a talented player who always put his team first and led by example. Tardif's contributions to the game of hockey in Quebec and beyond will always be remembered by fans and players alike.
