Mason Raymond Autographs
Mason Raymond is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey forward. He was born on September 17, 1985, in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. Raymond began playing hockey as a child in local leagues, and eventually played for the Camrose Kodiaks of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He played for the Kodiaks for three seasons, but it wasn't until his fourth year with the team that he made a name for himself. In the 2004–05 season, Raymond scored 62 points (27 goals, 35 assists) in 55 games, earning the AJHL's Most Valuable Player award.
In 2005, Raymond was drafted in the second round, 51st overall, by the Vancouver Canucks. He spent the next six seasons with the Canucks, becoming a key player on the team. In the 2009-2010 season, Raymond had a breakout year, scoring 25 goals and 28 assists. He continued to be a solid contributor for the team until 2013, when he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. After one season with the Leafs, Raymond was traded to the Calgary Flames, where he played for two more seasons before becoming a free agent.
Following his time in the NHL, Raymond continued his hockey career playing overseas in Switzerland and Sweden, where he played for EHC Kloten and Mora IK, respectively. Raymond officially announced his retirement from professional hockey in February 2021, having played in over 500 games in the NHL and scoring 251 points. Throughout his career, Raymond was known for his speed and offensive ability, and was a fan favorite on every team he played for.
