Mattias Ekholm Autographs
Mattias Ekholm is a professional ice hockey player from Sweden. He was born on May 24, 1990, in Borlänge, Sweden. Mattias started playing hockey at the age of 6 and later joined the youth program for Borlänge Energy. He made his debut in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) during the 2008-09 season and played for his hometown team until the 2010-11 season.
In May 2011, Ekholm signed a two-year contract with Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Mattias made his NHL debut on October 22, 2011, against the Anaheim Ducks. He scored his first NHL goal on November 5, 2011, in a game against the San Jose Sharks. Mattias is known for his strong defensive skills and has become a crucial part of the Nashville Predators' defensive core. He has played over 500 games for the team and has registered over 200 points during his NHL career.
Mattias has also represented Sweden in various international tournaments. He won a gold medal at the 2013 IIHF World Championships in Stockholm and Helsinki. He also represented Sweden at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. Mattias has had an impressive hockey career and continues to play a pivotal role for the Nashville Predators.
