Metro Prystai Autograph
Metro Prystai was a Canadian professional ice hockey player born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, on February 14, 1927. Prystai played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for eleven seasons, from 1949 until 1960. He started his NHL career with the Detroit Red Wings, where he played for four seasons before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks. Prystai went on to play for several other teams, including the New York Rangers, the Montreal Canadiens, and the Toronto Maple Leafs, before retiring from professional hockey in 1960. In his eleven-season career, he played in 666 games and scored 151 goals, 172 assists, and had 323 career points. His career highlights include playing in four Stanley Cup Finals and winning two championships, and being named to the NHL Second All-Star Team in 1952-53.
