Mike Krushelnyski Autographs
Mike Krushelnyski was born on April 27, 1960, in Montreal, Quebec. He started his professional hockey career playing for the Victoria Cougars of the Western Hockey League (WHL). In the 1980 NHL entry draft, he was selected by the Boston Bruins and, he played with them for five seasons. Krushelnyski's excellent performance helped the Bruins reached the Stanley Cup Final in 1983. He further played for the Edmonton Oilers, Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Buffalo Sabres in his hockey career. He was known for his versatility on the ice which made him play in any forward position of the game.
In 1984, Krushelnyski was traded to the Edmonton Oilers, where he became a valuable player for the Oilers. His commendable skills helped the Oilers win two Stanley Cups in 1985 and 1987. Krushelnyski was recognized with the most important game-winning goal of his career during Game 7 of the 1985 Stanley Cup Final against the Philadelphia Flyers, where he scored the goal that secured the Oilers' first-ever Stanley Cup championship. He was a highly effective forward, who always proved his capabilities on the run towards the goal-mouth.
Mike Krushelnyski retired in 1995, and his legacy continues to inspire upcoming and professional hockey players to date. His career stats stand at 1008 NHL games played, 241 goals scored, 409 assists, and 650 points acquired throughout his professional career. Besides, he was not only an outstanding NHL player but also an Olympic participant, playing for Canada in the 1984 Winter Olympics, where he helped the Canadian team to a fourth-place finish at the Games. His consistency and versatility have remained an inspirational example of what a great player looks like in the history of hockey.
