Murray Craven Autographs
Murray Craven was born on July 20th, 1964 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. He fell in love with hockey at a young age and started playing organized hockey when he was only six years old. He was a standout player throughout his minor hockey career, and became one of the top players in his age group in the province of Alberta. In 1982, Craven was drafted in the first round, 17th overall, by the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Over the course of his 19-year NHL career, Craven played for a number of teams, including the Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, Hartford Whalers, Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks, and the San Jose Sharks. He was known for his hard work and dedication to his role as a two-way forward. During his prime, Craven was one of the best penalty killers in the league, and he was a consistent point producer throughout his career. His best statistical season came in 1987-88 with the Philadelphia Flyers, where he tallied 30 goals and added 49 assists for 79 points.
In 1998, after a long and successful NHL career, Craven decided to retire from professional hockey. After leaving the ice, he became a coach and spent several years behind the bench in both the minor leagues and in the NHL. Craven was widely respected throughout the league, both for his on-ice play and his leadership skills. Today, Murray Craven is remembered as one of the top two-way forwards of his era, and his career stands as a testament to his hard work and dedication to the game of hockey.
