Pascal Leclaire is a retired Canadian ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 2002 to 2011. Born in Repentigny, Quebec, Leclaire began playing hockey at the age of four and developed a passion for the game. He started his professional career with the Halifax Mooseheads in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and was eventually drafted eighth overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
