Patrice Brisebois is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who spent most of his career playing for the Montreal Canadiens. Brisebois was born on January 27, 1971, in Montreal, Quebec, and started playing hockey at the age of five. Brisebois made his NHL debut with the Montreal Canadiens in 1991 and quickly established himself as a formidable defenseman. He played for the Canadiens for 14 seasons, amassing 420 points in 896 games. His distinguished career included two Stanley Cup championships in 1993 and 1998. Brisebois was known for his consistency and his solid all-around play, and he earned a reputation as a reliable defenseman who could always be counted on to play a solid game.

After leaving Montreal in 2004, Brisebois played for the Colorado Avalanche for three seasons and retired in 2009. Over the course of his career, he scored 97 goals and tallied 420 points in 1,009 games. Brisebois also represented Canada on several occasions, including the 1998 Winter Olympics where he helped Canada win a gold medal.
