Petr Klima Autographs
Petr Klima is a former professional ice hockey player who was born on December 23, 1964, in Chařovice, Czechoslovakia. He started playing hockey professionally in Czechoslovakia and quickly made a name for himself as a talented forward. He caught the attention of the NHL and was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the fifth round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft.
Klima joined the Red Wings in the 1985-86 season and immediately made an impact on the ice. He scored 32 goals in his rookie season, including a memorable quadruple-overtime game-winning goal in the playoffs against the Edmonton Oilers. Klima's speed and scoring ability made him a dangerous player on the ice, and he quickly became a fan favorite in Detroit.
Klima went on to play for several other teams during his NHL career, including the Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Los Angeles Kings, and Pittsburgh Penguins. He retired from professional hockey in 2000 with 313 goals and 596 points in 786 NHL games. Klima's contributions to the game of hockey have earned him a place in the hearts of fans and a spot in the Czech Ice Hockey Hall of Fame.
