Petr Mrazek Autographs

Petr Mrazek is a Czech professional ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). Mrazek was born on February 14, 1992, in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Growing up, he began playing hockey at a young age, and as he got older, he honed his skills in the sport. He idolized Czech goaltender Dominik Hasek and emulated the style of the legend in his own play.
Mrazek started his professional hockey career in the Czech Extraliga before making the move to the North American hockey scene. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. In 2012, Mrazek was named the Red Wings' top goaltending prospect and made his NHL debut in February 2013. He was a standout in his rookie year, shutting out the Blues twice in the playoffs and taking the team to the Western Conference Semifinals.
In 2018, Mrazek was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers before being signed by the Hurricanes the following year. He played a key role in helping the Hurricanes reach the Eastern Conference Finals in his first season with the team. Mrazek continued to excel in the 2019-20 season, posting the second-best save percentage in the league. He has established himself as a reliable goaltender and an important part of the Hurricanes' roster.
