Petr Nedved Autographs
Petr Nedved is a former Czech-Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was born on December 9, 1971, in Liberec, Czechoslovakia. He started playing hockey at a very young age in his hometown and eventually moved to Canada to further his career. In 1990, he was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round (second overall) of the NHL Entry Draft.
Nedved played for several NHL teams throughout his career including the Vancouver Canucks, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Philadelphia Flyers, Edmonton Oilers, and Phoenix Coyotes. He was known for his outstanding skills as a center and his contribution to every team he played for. He also played for the Czech Republic national team where he won several medals including a gold medal at the World Championships.
During his NHL career, Nedved scored a total of 310 goals and 407 assists in 982 regular-season games. He also played in 93 playoff games, scoring 22 goals and 33 assists. Despite several injuries during his career, Nedved emerged as one of the most talented and skilled players of his time. After his retirement from professional hockey in 2013, he was inducted into the Czech Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014.
