Radek Dvorak Autographs
Radek Dvorak is a retired Czech professional ice hockey player who spent 18 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1995 to 2013. He was born on March 9, 1977, in Tabor, Czechoslovakia, and began playing professional hockey in his teenage years. Dvorak's professional career started with HC Ceske Budejovice in the Czech Extraliga but he was soon drafted by the Florida Panthers in the first round at the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, where he made his mark in the league.
Dvorak made his NHL debut with the Panthers in the 1995-96 season, playing 76 games and leading all rookies with 13 goals and tying for the most points with 30. He quickly became known for his speed on the ice, which earned him the nickname "Radar." Dvorak played with the Panthers for seven seasons, becoming a key part of the team's success in the late 90s. In his tenure with the team, he played 613 games, scoring 118 goals and 287 points.
Dvorak also played for several other NHL teams over the course of his career, including the New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars, St Louis Blues and the Anaheim Ducks. He was known for his consistency, playing in more than 1,200 career NHL games and scoring 219 goals and 590 points. Dvorak also represented the Czech Republic many times internationally, including the 1996 World Junior Championships, the Winter Olympics, and the World Championships. In 2005, he won a gold medal with the Czech Republic at the IIHF World Hockey Championships. Dvorak retired from professional hockey in 2015 at the age of 38.
