Rejean Houle Autographs
Rejean Houle is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada. Born on October 25, 1949, in Quebec, he grew up playing minor league hockey before joining the Montreal Junior Canadiens in the Ontario Hockey League in 1967. Houle spent four years with the team and helped them win two Memorial Cup championships, which caught the attention of the NHL scouts.
In 1972, Houle was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the first round, fifth overall. He made his NHL debut in the same season and helped the Canadiens win the Stanley Cup championship in his first year. Over the next ten seasons, he played with the Canadiens, scoring 233 goals and 267 assists in 634 regular-season games. Houle was a member of five Stanley Cup-winning teams with Montreal, and he was known for his skilled playmaking, speed, and two-way game. Houle also represented Canada's national team in international competitions, including the 1976 Canada Cup and the 1977 World Championships.
After retiring as a player in 1983, Houle continued his career in hockey operations. He served as the general manager of the Canadiens from 1995 to 2000 and helped the team win the Stanley Cup championship in 1993. He also served as the president of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995. Houle is remembered as one of the greatest Canadiens players of all time and a respected leader in hockey management.
