Ryan Reaves Autographs
Ryan Reaves is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays as a right-winger for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on January 20, 1987, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Reaves comes from a family of professional athletes as his father, Willard Reaves, was a running back in the CFL and his uncle, Mark Reeds, was a former NHL player and coach.
Reaves began his hockey career playing for his hometown team, the Winnipeg South Blues of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL). In 2005, he was signed by the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and played for them for four seasons. During his time with the Wheat Kings, Reaves was known for his physical and defensive play, which earned him the nickname "The Grim Reaver." In 2009, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Blues and played for their AHL affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen, before eventually making his NHL debut in 2010.
Throughout his career, Reaves became a fan favorite for his tough, physical play and his ability to protect his teammates on the ice. He played for the St. Louis Blues for seven seasons before being traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2018. He then signed as a free agent with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2018 and has been a crucial part of the team's physical and defensive prowess ever since. In addition to his playing career, Reaves is also an advocate for mental health and has been open about his struggles with anxiety and depression, using his platform to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
