Sean Burke Autographs
Sean Burke is a retired Canadian ice hockey goaltender who played for 18 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). he was born on January 29, 1967, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He grew up in a family of hockey players and started playing the game from a young age. After playing for his local team, Burke joined the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) where he quickly became known for his impressive skills as a goaltender.
Burke's professional hockey career kicked off in 1987 when he was drafted by the New Jersey Devils. Over the years, he played for several NHL teams including the Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Tampa Bay Lightning. During his 18-year career, he was known for his excellent netminding skills that helped his teams achieve great success. In 1998, he was named the best goaltender at the Winter Olympics where he competed for Team Canada.
In addition to his success in the NHL, Burke also had a successful international career. He represented Canada at several international tournaments, including the Winter Olympics, the World Hockey Championships, and the World Cup of Hockey. Throughout his career, Burke played in over 800 games, had 324 wins, and a save percentage of .904. He retired in 2007 and currently works as an assistant general manager for the Montreal Canadiens. Burke's impressive career and skills as a goaltender have cemented him as one of the greatest hockey players of all time.
