Fedorov quickly became a standout player and was noticed by NHL scouts. Fedorov played for the Red Wings for 13 seasons and became one of the team's most dominant players. He was known for his speed, agility, and offensive skills, and played a key role in helping the Red Wings win three Stanley Cup championships in 1997, 1998, and 2002. He was also a three-time winner of the Selke Trophy, which is awarded to the NHL's best defensive forward.

In addition to his success with the Red Wings, Fedorov also played for the Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Washington Capitals during his NHL career.
